Breezy Point – Ace Valley
Ace Valley is Breezy Point Resort’s new short course, a 12-hole par-3 layout built on the site of the resort’s original Traditional course, where golf at Breezy Point began in the 1920s. Designed by Andy Staples of Staples Golf Design, it’s built for fun as much as for scoring. The holes play from a short pitch to about 200 yards on a mix of natural and artificial turf, with greens modeled on famous holes in Scotland, Ireland and England. Every hole is lit for night golf. Two features stand out. On the 5th hole, you tee off from the second level of the clubhouse while other golfers watch from above. And after the 12th comes a bonus island-green hole with a progressive jackpot for a hole-in-one, streamed live inside the clubhouse. The clubhouse at the center of it all adds bars, a restaurant, a rooftop deck, a golf shop and an 18-hole putting course, making Ace Valley as much a night out as a round of golf.
